Ulster Rugby Camps- Terms and Conditions

  • The Ulster Rugby Summer Camps run from 9.00am to 1.00pm each day
  • Ulster Rugby is not responsible for children left unsupervised outside these hours
  • Places will be filled on a first come first served basis
  • Bookings must be made online before the Friday preceding the camp.
  • Payment is considered as acceptance of the booking conditions
  • A discount of £5 per child is available to anyone booking one child on more than one camp or anyone booking two or more children on one or more camps. Discount is subject to availability and only available to immediate family who live in the same household. We reserve the right to withdraw discounts at any time and discount cannot be added retrospectively to a booking.
  • Cancellations made up to two weeks before the camp will receive a 50% refund. A transfer to another camp may be offered subject to availability
  • Any cancellations made after this time will not be refunded
  • The Ulster Rugby Summer Camps are staffed by IRFU qualified coaches who will implement the highest safety measures, however, they cannot be held liable or responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions
  • We strongly recommend that all valuables be left at home
  • Ulster Rugby Summer Camps will reserve the right to suspend any child that causes disruption to the camp due to misbehaviour. If a participant's behaviour is deemed to be unacceptable, the guardian will be informed at the end of the day. Any further bad behaviour will be dealt with in accordance with the IRFU discipline policy and will lead to that individual being removed from the camp and not permitted to return. In this instance no refund will be offered.
  • A confirmation email will be automatically sent as proof of booking
  • By booking on a camp you give consent that your child may be used in photographic or video material for promotional material, if you wish for your child not to be included please notify the Camp Manager at registration
  • Ulster Rugby reserves the right to cancel, amend, alter and change any camp or its content without the need for prior notice
  • Ulster Rugby will use its best endeavours to ensure that professional players will attend the camps.
  • Any data collected during the registration process is in line with Ulster Rugby’s Privacy Statement/Data Protection notice.

 

How do I register a child?
To place a child on a Ulster Rugby Camp (URC) you will need to register their details. This is so that we can ensure that the child is in the correct age group, we have their emergency contact details and any relevant medical issues are known by those running the camps. You can do this by choosing a camp then click on "Book A Child on this Course". Once you have registered a child you will receive a code which you can then use for future bookings. Please ensure that even if you have registered a child before, that when you add them to the camp you click on “edit” (next to their name) and check that the details are correct as contact numbers, shirt sizes and other relevant information may well have changed since last time you booked a course.

I have forgotten my child’s Code?
If you have forgotten the URC number please do not try and create another one for that child as this could cause problems for staff. Please utilise the “Forgotten your child's URC Membership Code?” link when you click on Book a Child on this Camp” button. Here you will need to add the child’s surname, date of birth and their post code to retrieve their information. Once you have located your child please select and then keep a note of the URC code.

You could always search your email for your booking confirmation that will have the URC code. The "From" field will be the full name of the club, Ulster Rugby

I am still having difficulties retrieving my child’s URC code?
If you are still having difficulties please contact the club by clicking here and they will be able to search the database for that information. They may request additional security information before providing you with those details which were requested at the original registration.

Why does it ask me to Register or Login at the checkout?
If you have previously booked camps with us you can login and this will retrieve your billing information. If you have not booked with Ulster Rugby Camps you will need to click Register.

I have a promotional Discount Coupon - where do I enter it?
Once you have booked a camp and added a child you can then View Basket and at the bottom of the cart you will see "DISCOUNT COUPON" simply add it in here and click Submit. This will then update your Basket/Cart with the correct total.

What Information will I get once I have successfully placed a booking?
Once you have placed your order you will be sent an email confirming the camp details and the child’s registration details. Ulster Rugby may send you additional information. Please check this email carefully and ensure that all the details are correct. We do not include highly sensitive information in the emails such as medical issues. If these details are NOT correct please go to the Edit Child Details Section and simply add in the requested information "Surname, Date of Birth and Postcode to retrieve their information then edit your child’s details. This information will then be updated immediately. If you wish to change information less that 48 hours before the Camp please contact the club directly by clicking here and advise them of the changes since they may have already downloaded all of the details.

Can I provide feedback?
Feedback is very important to us in raising our standards and making the camps as enjoyable as possible for your children. After your child has attended the course, we will send you a short survey to collect anonymously your thoughts on the whole process from booking through to how the camp was delivered and the facilities. We would ask you to take a couple of minutes to complete this so that we can improve the way we deliver these camps in the future.

How do I get a refund or make a cancellation?
Cancellations made up to two weeks before the camp will receive a 50% refund. A transfer to another camp may be offered subject to availability (subject to price alteration.
